Introducing: Godsleep (GR) and Rifftree (CRO), 28.11. at Klub Močvara

 

Bear Stone Promotions announces the arrival of Greek Stoner Rock band Godsleep supported by local Doom Metal powerhouse Rifftree at Zagreb's Močvara on Friday, November 28th.

If you like bands like All Them Witches, Colour Haze or Kyuss, or are simply looking for a concert where you will be completely engulfed by waves of fuzz guitars and energy from the stage, Godsleep at Močvara is an event not to be missed!

Athens-based foursome Godsleep returns to the region with an explosive dose of Stoner Rock and fuzz psychedelia that pushes the boundaries of the genre. Since their beginnings, they have been shaping massive riffs, hypnotic grooves and an atmosphere charged with raw energy, while the charismatic vocals of Amie Makris further increase the intensity of their music.

Their albums from the acclaimed Thousand Sons of Sleep (2015), through Coming of Age (2018), to the latest Lies to Survive (2023) released by the independent record company Ouga Bouga and the Mighty Oug Recordings, show a band that does not accept compromises and constantly explores new sonic horizons, combining stoner heaviness with noisy, experimental and punk elements.

The Zagreb duo Rifftree brings a powerful combination of Stoner and Doom Metal in instrumental form, where bass and drums create a sound that is heavy, psychedelic and infectiously energetic at the same time. Their performances bring a real wall of sound that pulls the audience into a hypnotic groove and doesn't let go until the last note. From the self-titled EP from 2022 to the recent releases Noise Worship and Wonky, Rifftree confirm their status as one of the most interesting young bands of the domestic scene that is definitely worth experiencing live.
