This year's edition of the OGLEDE festival will once again be located in Velika Gorica, in the Galženica neighborhood, in the center of which is Trg Stjepana Radića, and will focus on work as a fundamental human activity that shapes not only social relationships, values, attitudes, our free time and ideas, but also physical spaces — neighborhoods, streets, cities.
Under the title "Work Builds the City", the festival explores the role of work and labor in creating urban identities and collective memory through original artworks and performances. Admission to all programs is free.
Festival production and organization: Štoos Teatar, Galženica Gallery, Pučko otvoreno učilište Velika Gorica
IDEM, Visual design: Vrisak, creative agency
The festival program is diverse, and Antun IDEM will be attending the closing ceremony on Saturday, October 4th at 8 p.m.
IDEM is the solo project of Antun Aleksa, trombonist of the bands Porto Morto and JeboTon Ensambl and guitarist and singer of the band Trophy Jump. In a completely new expression, Antun touches on all the topics that are important to him with a bitter-sweet note through songs that are intended to be hits primarily for the author himself, and then potentially for a wider audience.
With its 10 released singles and two albums “poyy” and “CIAO” in just over two years of existence, this project has attracted great favor from the audience and critics.
This is best evidenced by successful performances in clubs and festivals throughout the region, sold-out concert promotions in the Tvornica Kulture and Boogaloo clubs, and winning the Porin for New Artist of the Year and six Rock&Off awards.
