The Sevdah band Divanhana, which has devoted the last decade of its activity to the affirmation of the traditional song of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the world stage and significantly enriched the repertoire of newly composed music inspired by tradition, presents a new song called "Rijekama".
Divanhana continues her artistic journey combining the heritage of sevdah and contemporary musical expression, and presents to all admirers of their work a song that exudes the spirit of sevdah classics, enriched with a modern production approach, interwoven with virtuoso vocal, instrumental and rhythmic figures that have recognisably adorned the work of this popular group for years.
"Our new author's work, the song Rijekame, draws inspiration from the rich traditional music of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a cheerful, humorous song about a man who leads an easy, casual life - a path that inevitably leads him to ruin - and everything is told through humor and satire, as our tradition knows best. We have already performed the song at several recent concerts and the audience accepted it brilliantly. For us, it represents a kind of precedent in creativity and marks the beginning of a new era band", said Selma Droce, the singer of Divanhana.
The song "Rijekama" also got its screen adaptation, in which the main character was embodied by the famous Bosnian actor Elmir Krivalić. The realization is signed by the band's longtime associate Sallex Perić, in cooperation with the production company MONO Digital, led by Davorin Đuranović and Dino Osmanović.

"We are extremely happy that we told this story with Elmir. His support, suggestions and special energy during the recording brought us invaluable value and gave the whole process a unique expression. Along with him, our long-term collaborators also worked on the project, people whose work has inspired and guided us for years. Together we created a musical and visual identity that we are proud to present through our new single," adds Selma.
The video presents a visual tribute to the natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, depicting their splendor and diversity. The journey begins in the Una National Park, along the emerald Una and its waterfalls, continues across the historic bridge of Mehmed Pasha Sokolović in Višegrad and the banks of the Drina in Goražde, and ends in the beauty of the protected Konjuh landscape and the greenery of the Zlača picnic area.
Although the shots were thought out and planned in advance, only in these locations did they discover their true beauty. It is no coincidence that the natural beauties of Bosnia and Herzegovina are increasingly being ranked among the favorite destinations of global tourism.
Filming in these wonderful places reminded us of our mission from the very beginning - to promote the beauty of our country through music and to #širimosevdah together," concluded Selma Droce.
