Parov Stelar drops (and Muzzik is delighted) two new tracks: “Rebel Love” and “Artifact”

 Electro-swing at its finest

Austrian electro-swing pioneer Parov Stelar (Marcus Füreder) has been busy over the last week, releasing the single and video for “Rebel Love” about a week ago, followed just three days later by “Artifact”. Both tracks reaffirm that Stelar continues to blur genre lines, merging vintage swing elements with modern electronics in a way that dances on the edge of nostalgia and innovation.

“Rebel Love” delivers dynamic energy: vocals, brass sections, a danceable rhythm — all spiced with Stelar’s signature style. The video is vivid, colorful, and polished, following the track through scenes full of movement and contrast.

On the other hand, “Artifact” takes a more introspective trajectory, with ambient passages, overlapping melodic lines, and electronic textures that lead the listener into a more reflective mood. The “Artifact” video enhances the song with visual aesthetics — effects, light, and spatial design to elevate the emotional atmosphere.

Parov Stelar, whose career includes albums and hit singles like “The Libertine”, “Booty Swing”, and “Catgroove”, demonstrates he hasn’t abandoned his recognizable formula — a blend of swing, jazz, electro-pop, and dance beats — but also remains open to experimentation.

For fans who enjoy music that stands between past and future, Rebel Love and Artifact are worthwhile additions to Stelar’s discography. It’ll be interesting to see how they perform on streaming platforms and in live shows.
