Marko Louis and Senidah presents the duet song - Bulbule

Invoking love as a cry of the soul Marko Louis presents a new video for the song "Bulbule", recorded in collaboration with the authentic diva Senidah.

The track is a new single from his last album with the symbolic name "25", released for the Balkan Art Collaboration label.

The album is designed as a musical journey through four important dates, connected not only to music, but also to his closest and personal anniversaries.

"The song BULBULE was created in April of this year when I wrote the music, and my long-time collaborator Maja Radivojević wrote the lyrics. At first, I didn't plan for it to be a duet song, but Maja and my friends know that my great desire was to record a song with Senidah, the author of a unique expression. I was delighted because Senidah immediately agreed because she liked the song. After that, everything went smoothly. Senidah is not only an artist with an authentic voice and expression, I have already realized through this work that she is also extremely professional, easy to work with and a down-to-earth person. The story of the origin of the text is interesting. Wife Masha said that the melody reminds her of a scene from a Disney fairy tale when the princess talks to the birds. The idea of the nightingale was born from that picture. Bulbul is a synonym for nightingale, a forgotten word of Persian origin, which can be heard in some places in Bosnia. In Sufi mysticism, the bulbul symbolizes the soul searching for divine beauty. This song is the invocation of love as the highest inspiration.” said the talented musician Marko Louis.

"I am glad that this collaboration came about because Marko Louis is a great musician. Our collaboration on this song is sincere, emotional, special. This song is extremely personal to me - it is a dream, a longing, a voice from inside that says "I dream of you...my desire...see me, my nightingale" - it is the cry of my soul that I have been carrying for years. Once upon a time, "the jay bird sang", now it's Marko and me. Our nightingales are in the heart, forever. Senidah said.

The video was directed by Dragan Jereminov, Marko's longtime collaborator. The video was shot in the nature reserve Kraljevac and in the building of the old Svetosava monastery in Pančevo. At the end of the video, actor Vahid Džanković utters the words of Meša Selimović from an interview from the 70s. Ever since the song was published, the comments have been full of positive words, most often a duet song that gives you goosebumps! (source: press promo)
