British producer and multi-instrumentalist Fred again.. has teamed up with Australian punk band Amyl and The Sniffers for the heartfelt and raw track “you’re a star”, blending emotional depth with explosive energy true to both artists.
Fred again.. described the song as one of the more personal ones from his USB series: “It’s about trying to claw someone you love out of a hole — in the midst of chaos, misfortune, and heaviness — because you know they’re a fuckin’ star. You just need to lift them up enough to see the mirror for a second.”
The accompanying video, directed by John Angus Stewart and LOOSE, edited by Anders Mills, and graded by Tim Smith, captures a powerful visual story of support, struggle, and connection. The production was handled by amelia studios.
