Finnish rock singer and songwriter Michael Monroe, best known as the frontman of the legendary Hanoi Rocks, has released his new single and video “Rockin’ Horse”. The track announces his upcoming 11th solo album Outerstellar, due on February 20, 2026, via Silver Lining Music.
The video, directed by Leigh Brooks, takes a humorous twist by featuring Monroe as multiple characters in a mock morning TV show, “Waking Up With Michael Monroe” – even showing him without his trademark stage makeup. The song features longtime collaborators Steve Conte, Rich Jones, Sami Yaffa, and Karl Rockfist.
With its punchy riff and Monroe’s unmistakable energy, “Rockin’ Horse” carries his signature punk-glam spirit, following the path of albums like I Live Too Fast to Die Young! (2022). Just like in his Hanoi Rocks days, Monroe proves that real rock’n’roll is still alive – raw, honest, and irresistibly fun.
