Angolan artist C4 Pedro has released his new single “Nzambi é Que Manda Mesmo”, a powerful track from his 2025 album Ancestralidade. The title, which translates as “God truly commands,” reflects a deep sense of spirituality and cultural pride, blending traditional African rhythms with a modern, polished sound.
Born in Luanda in 1983, C4 Pedro spent part of his youth in Belgium, where he began his musical journey with his brother Lil Saint as the duo Brother Lisboa Santos. After returning to Angola, he rose to prominence with albums like Lágrimas, Calor e Frio and King Ckwa—one of Portugal’s best-selling and most acclaimed records of 2015. His collaboration with Big Nelo as B4 Los Compadres cemented his reputation as one of the most versatile voices in the Lusophone world.
The video for “Nzambi é Que Manda Mesmo” is rich in symbolism, highlighting African spirituality and identity. Like the rest of Ancestralidade, the song stands as C4 Pedro’s homage to his roots—a celebration of heritage, unity, and the divine rhythm that connects generations.
