Zagreb’s fiery band Ki Klop returns with a brand-new dance single and accompanying video “KAO JA”. With this release, the beloved disco-pop trio elevates its production, announces a new artistic chapter, and teases its second studio album.
This Saturday, November 22, Ki Klop will play their final Zagreb show before a break, taking the stage at Vintage Industrial Bar as part of the one-day festival Mudri Brk.
Driven by a pulsating dance beat, seductive lyrics, and powerful production, the new single is poised to ignite dance floors and heat up club nights. Alongside the band’s signature electro-disco sound, the music video delivers cinematic shots of a dancing protagonist who pulls the audience onto the floor and into a playful, seductive dance-music story.
The “KAO JA” video marks a fresh step in Ki Klop’s evolving creative vision and aesthetics. The protagonist of this dance-film narrative is Luka Žigolić, Ki Klop’s guitarist and lead vocalist. The video is directed, shot, and edited by Denis Komljenović, with whom the band begins a new collaboration on this single. Luka Stjepanović served as camera assistant, while lighting was handled by Mirsad Mahmutović. Costume design is by Ira Rumora, and the video production was carried out by Ki Klop and Denis Komljenović. On the musical side, “KAO JA” also brings a new collaboration: production, mixing, and mastering were done by one of Croatia’s leading producers, Leonard Klaić. The single is released in partnership with the labels JeboTon and Mudri Brk.
