Rundek & EKIPA are starting a new chapter in their creative cycle and are proud to present the first single of the upcoming album - "Dance on Thin Ice". It is a shamanic and oneiric song, created from the authorial collaboration of Ana Kovačić and Darko Rundek, which brings a recognizable emotional depth and creative curiosity for which they are both known. "One fine day, Ana sent me her instrumental composition, with the comment that she saw a connection between it and my strangely counted riffs from our improvisations. In response, I sang her a melody that came spontaneously from listening to that piece. Then I needed words and in a few creative steps, here's Dancing on Thin Ice!" - Darko Rundek told us. "I have always liked to write diaries, but often words are not a medium for me to describe my states and emotions, so I prefer to 'play my day'. So that evening I picked up the bass guitar. From it came out a simple and honest groove that managed to get stuck in my head. A few days later I had a sketch of music that could now have its own text. I often have the opportunity to play and improvise with Darko and I know that his music shaped mine in a way. I thought that the song might be something he might like and I decided to send it to him." - Ana Kovačić tells us.

The video is the result of a completely unexpected artistic connection. The author's team was chosen after the participation of Darko Rundek and Sanda Hržić in an art workshop dedicated to river protection.
The workshop resulted in an exhibition of works created during the process, among which was the video work of Macedonian artists Hana Korneti, Gjorgl Jovanovik and Gjorgi Mitrevski. Sandi liked their approach and sensibility, and she proposed them as authors of the video for the newly completed song Dance on Thin Ice.
They gladly accepted the invitation! Collaboration and exchange of ideas followed, which gradually grew into the final visual.
