Manu Chao has unveiled “Tom et Lola”, a new track accompanied by a minimalist, intimate video directed by Chao himself, with images created by him and Cristina Climent.
Blending poetry, melancholy and a touch of urban charm, Manu tells a small, cinematic love story between Tom and Lola — tender, fleeting, and symbolically linked to the recurring “little bouquet of lilac.”The lyrics weave together everyday moments from the outskirts of Paris, pop-culture nods and Chao’s signature nomadic, chanson-infused sound.
