Official Release, finally: Fatboy Slim & The Rolling Stones – “Satisfaction Skank”

Electronic music legend Fatboy Slim and rock icons The Rolling Stones have finally officially released the long-awaited mashup track “Satisfaction Skank.”

Originally created over 25 years ago by Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim), the mashup blends his hit “The Rockafeller Skank” with the iconic guitar riff and vocals from The Rolling Stones’ classic “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”

For decades the track circulated only as a bootleg at live shows and on early file-sharing platforms, since sample clearance was never granted — until now. The Rolling Stones have finally cleared the sample and even provided original master tapes so Cook could produce a high-quality official version.

The new single is released through Southern Fried Records and ABKCO Records and is available now on streaming platforms and on limited-edition vinyl, bringing a classic collision of rock and dance music to a new generation of fans.
